Art Therapy can be a helpful approach for individuals of any age. Some issues that Art Therapy can help with are ;

  • bereavement

  • trauma

  • long term illness

  • experience of abuse

  • work related stress

  • eating disorders

  • experiences in difficult or complex relationships

After the first enquiry an Initial Art Therapy Consultation meeting (50 minute duration) can be arranged, if this suitable. This will enable us to look at what circumstances bring you to Art Therapy.

Following this, an Art Therapy Asssessment, may be offered . This is to see if ongoing Art Therapy sessions could be helpful.

Appointments tend to be weekly.  The progress of therapy is reviewed at agreed intervals and this will influence whether short or long term therapy is required.
